Our 1st cruise was on the Carnival Valor, we LOVED everything on the Valor, not so much on the Dream. Everything from cleanliness, food, drinks was a complete let down. The ship stunk on the Lido deck like sewage/urine. The food was nothing special, the dining room basically had the same menu night after night, with only a few items different each night. The desserts were unimpressive, quality inconcistent. We were in the Crisome dining room stuck in a back corner, asked if the window coverings could be opened, so we could see out to the water, was told they never open them, their entertainment show was nothing entertaining about it. The best meal we had was the Dr. Seuss breakfast that was $5 per person extra. We did enjoy Trivia, Sorry and the 50's/60's Rock and Roll show, we went to the 80's music show also, it was ok. The waterworks area was nice and the grandkids enjoyed it. The only 2 times our faster to fun helped us was getting on the ship and getting off the ship in Galveston. The Blue Iguana Bar (Tequlia bar) was closed most of the time, which then back up the Rum bar, so most of the time we waited for a deck server to get us a drink, sometimes taking as long as 30 minutes.

Cabin 8F

Was serviced once a day, nothing impressive about the service of our cabin, our bed was hard, so if you like a softer mattress don't choose this room.
