Princess always has been and is still the best cruise line for Alaskan cruises. The itinerary is the best. The cabin was a balcony, the only way to go in Alaska. The cabin steward was extremely efficient and was always on top of keeping the room serviced. The buffet and international cafe are fantastic. Excellent selections, hot food. The International buffet is second to none on alternative to buffet for eating. It also offers the option of entertainment in the Plaza deck. Sabitinis was fantastic. Well worth the money. The crew on the ship was outstanding and very friendly. The always had a smile on their face and truly looked as if they enjoy their job. On several occasions they went above and beyond when dealing with your requests.

The Dining room is definitely a place you should avoid unless you simply wish to waste 2 hours to eat your dinner. The quality was clearly sub par to the buffet. The entertainment was 50/50. The Comedian was exceptional. The magician was bad. The performances of the production shows was at best average. Have cruised 12 times previous princess. This was by far the worst selection of entertainment.

The best experience eating was the English Pub Lunch at the Wheelhouse/Crown. The fish and chips was outstanding. Of the three bars the Plaza Bar was by far the best. The service and staff were beyond expectations. The Wheelhouse and Crooners was sub par. Poor service and no drink ever came back the same. They always acted confused.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Excellent. It was kept at all times. The most under appreciated position on the ship.
