I've cruised with Carnival before, we liked the itinerary, and the price was reasonable. The food was excellent and the wait staff and cruise director were great. Also, we really enjoyed the ship's entertainment. The spa and the showers in the locker room were very nice. The ship itself is pretty warn out. Our stateroom was not clean upon arrival (we found clothing tags, contact lenses, hair extensions and other debris in our room upon arrival. Our in room safe didn't work, but after 2 phone calls it was replaced. (We had to contact your seward as the guest services phone number is never answered) The equipment in the fitness center is pretty old. Several treadmills were not even operational. The basketball court is above the space where they do yoga, and the kids giant slide is right near the adult only "Serenity Area"...poor planning? There were many children on the ship, often not supervised. We called to complain about yelling and crying during the night from the room next to ours...the parents were staying in a different room across the hall. One pool was closed during the last few days of our cruise, and the adult only pool didn't look very clean and was full of drunks. No serenity there. Finally, we could not hear the intercom system in our room, so we often missed out on directions.
We had fun, but it certainly has room for improvement.
Small, as expected.
Not very clean.
