Pros:
Ship rarely felt like it was near capacity, even though it was
Generous amount of time ashore in ports
Excellent overall, but in retrospect would only get a Verandah: the differences between the two were nowhere near enough to justify the cost difference (both cabin) and gratuity rate). More storage than we needed even being heavy packers for 25 days! Generally quiet--only heard neighbors a few times. No hallway/elevator noise. Wish the balcony was a foot larger to allow better furniture placement. The location of our cabin was also excellent, although that was also reflected in the price.
Inside. For the kids we got a non-adjoining interior cabin that was just around the corner from ours; this was a perfect set-up for us! This cabin was tight, but adequate for two teens. Was really tight when we added a third person on the Adriatic leg of the cruise--virtually no place to stand or move if the three beds are laid out. Still, good quality of finish.
Beautiful, but hot, hazy and crowded.
Went to Menton by train, which was OK.
Went to Aix by train, which was excellent. Marseille itself is rather rough.
SpainDayTours city tour & trip to Murcia; good but not "awesome".
Wish the transfer process was a bit easier...if you can afford it, group taxi/transfer is the way to go.
Loved Barcelona--will go back.
Difficult (due to heat and winds), but excellent!
Picturesque
Interesting sites.
City is a bit meh, but still had a good time.
