This was my first cruise and I was not impressed with this one. Let me start with the only positive. Ease of getting on board was fairly simple. The ship is extremely old and outdated. We had an ocean view room with rusted windows, bathroom reeked of urine throughout our stay and the shower never drained properly. The staff was borderline rude and they weren't the friendliest. Once we got the key to the room they had a meeting that took place at the muester stations. The staff member literally knocked on our door once and before I could answer they used a key to burst into the room which was very disrespectful and wrong. What if I had been naked or my children? No one spoke clear English and forget asking a staff member where something was. They seemed to never could explain or give proper directions which was frustrating as the ship was very big.

The food was hit or miss. The only good food was at dinner time but it was never hot. The servers at dinner were the friendliest throughout the entire ship. The food served daily was ok but there were times where some were closed and hundreds of people on the ship would be left standing in long lines for food at breakfast and lunch time. Watch out for the charges to your account! There were so many people that complained about extra gratuities and the guest services lines were always long. Forget trying to call guest services from your room it was always busy or they simply never answered.

The bathrooms for use throughout the ship were always dirty and gross. Feces left in toilets, tissue everywhere and urine on the floors and the staff never seemed to care. They would clean all around the ship but would not clean the bathrooms as often as they should have been. The pools seemed rusty and the water always looked dirty. It was literally thousands of people aboard the ship so you would think they would keep everything stocked but their were times when the ice cream machines weren't working, cones weren't stocked and the lemonade that they offered was not filled on some machines.
