Upon arrival into our cabin we found it was dirty, not clean properly. There were stain marks on the ceiling, carpet, walls and mirror. The door jamb for the bathroom where you place you hand to step in/out was covered in grunge, some looked like dry blood. The main door for the cabin was also covered in this grunge. We complained and they did a cleaning but not to any high standards which left us wondering what else might be lurking in our cabin [germs]. In addition the bathroom door was secured with silicone along the bottom frame and the fan would not work.

This was not a quality cruise; we could not get a martini because it was not on the drink menu, there was no John Smith beer in the upper lounge, you had to go down and get it yourself; the furniture in the various lounges were dated and stained, the carpet in the main lounge had a bad smell; service was slow in the various lounges and in some cases no service at all.

The internet was poor, you paid a high price and if you did not use you time it was gone, you could not log in/out unless you purchased more time. Entertainment was poor. Shore excursions in most cases were poor and in some cases we did not get what we paid for; the excursion staff did not care nor deal with the problems. Read more
