Had never cruised Princess before but chose for the port intensive itinerary of places we had always wanted to visit. Crown Princess exceeded all my expectations. Service & food were excellent. Horizon buffet offered an abundance of choices and variety. Staff was friendly and helpful. Excursions were well organized and guides enhanced the experience. Especially liked the Discovery tours in Guernsey & Cork. Yes - we kissed the Blarney Stone - was one of our favorite excursions. Would have liked more time in Edinburgh. Invergordan was a surprise. The locals were prepared for the cruise passengers and greeted us warmly. The visit to Normandy and the American Cemetery was exceptional and emotional. Our group was there when the chimes played the Star Spangled Banner and then Taps - no dry eyes after that!

Ship never seemed crowded and was very clean. Cabin had plenty of storage space. Would definitely cruise with Crown Princess again.

Balcony

Cabin BB

Most comfortable bed ever on a cruise. Midship - easy access to elevator lobby. More storage than we needed - even for a 12 day cruise. New carpet. Very Clean.

Port Reviews

St. Peter Port (Guernsey)

Vintage bus 'Twinkle' added to the fun of visiting sites from the book.

Dublin

Beautiful countryside & amazing monastery ruins.

Belfast

This is a must do site. We walked from visitor center. Cold, windy, rainy day added to the adventure. Sea was calm - so we were allowed to walk out on the rocks.

Invergordon (Inverness)

Loved the castle & gardens. Castle is still inhabited and interesting to learn of family history.

Le Havre

Everyone should visit the American Cemetery. Highlight of our trip. Lunch in seaside village was excellent.
