We did the Mediterranean on this ship a few years ago and we enjoyed returning to this beautiful ship. The food on Princess in my opinion is a cut above many other lines but I did notice a slight change in quality on the many beef dishes. Still very good though. The medallion program is very convenient, however, there seems to still be some bugs to be worked out on the Ocean compass and now apps. Harder than necessary to connect and sign in. When working though they are a nice add. Entertainment was above average for the most part. The ports of call on this cruise were Warnemunde Germany, Oslo Norway, Copenhagen Denmark, Stockholm Sweden, Helsinki Finland, St Petersburg Russia, (2 days), and Tallinn Estonia. Beware of the pick pocket problem in all of these ports. The tour guides repeatedly warn of them and there are signs in tourist attractions also warning. We had a elderly lady have her purse with passports and cash stolen at a cafe in Stockholm. There are only 3 sea days on the itinerary so by the end you will have to catch up on some sleep.
Very nice little resort town. We embarked in Warnemunde. We spent 4 days in Berlin and took a Flixbus from Berlin to Warnemunde a day before departure. A 3 hour bus ride in a very comfortable bus and only 26 Euros. The bus stopped at the Werft stop which was 100 yards from the Hafenapartments where we stayed the night. We were able to walk to the ship from there the next morning. Highly recommend these very clean, modern, and convenient apartment rentals. Lots of nice restaurants in Warnemunde and don't forget to climb to the top of the old lighthouse for some nice pictures. (2 Euro charge)
Clean and expensive. A must see in Oslo is the park with all of the sculptures. (Vigeland)
Walking distance from the cruise terminal. Very nice little Mid evil town.
