We sailed in July with Azamara for the second time. Our first cruise with Azamarawas on the Pursuit in the Autumn of last year. The only real difference we could see between the ships was the Casino, when that is removed and the Lounge becomes bigger it is a definite improvement. However The Journey is a lovely ship, we did not notice any shabby areas, she gleamed!

Add to the experience the wonderful crew, a Captain who was so personable and who made in scheduled ‘stops’ so the chef could source local Norwegian berries and cheese and you have a recipe for a fun time. We even did an oil rig safari! Not many can say that! The food, service and overall holiday was first class. We are already booking two back to back cruises with Journey in November, can’t wait. Caribbean here we come!

Thank you Azamara for Azamazing holidays

Cabin Review

Club Interior Stateroom

Cabin 09

Inside cabin was immaculate. Not my first choice but my husband - a veteran of Scandinavian travel in summer months pointed out that in the “land of the midnight sun” sleep can be difficult. I must admit we slept so well. The lovely comfy bed and the dark cabin! Perfect. I hate to admit he was right (don’t want him getting ideas!) - but.... our cabin stewards were outstanding, cabin was always immaculately presented.
