As our first cruise, I chose Scenic because I wanted all inclusive - flights, tipping, trips and excursions, food and drinks and Scenic delivered. All of the staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed or wanted. The food was delicious, varied, pleasing to the eye and to the palate. If we didn't want the selections offered, there was a menu. Wines and beers from the regions we went through were very different and all good. Excursions offered variety - bus, walking, bike, boat rides, gentle walks, something for all. The guides were well versed in the history of the towns and landmarks we saw. History came to life every day we went out. The Jade rode so well it was like being soothed to sleep at night. The countryside was vibrant with colour from the people, the buildings and even the crops looked like home, so no one was home sick. From the smooth pick up at the airport to the return at the end, Scenic did it all smoothly. Entertainment on board included Hungarian dancing and music, a zither, waltzing, violin concert and every night Henrick provided music for listening and dancing. Salt room available, work out gym, walk track upstairs, lots of chairs to sit outside on or stay in the comfortable lounge. In 2 weeks, staff became friends. We knew names and where there families are from. Our fellow passengers were mostly Aussies, fellow Canadians, Americans, British, Hungarians, Serbs, Czechs. Pretty much world nations. Wonderful first trip and it has made us want to travel again, thanks Scenic. You have a wonderful fleet of crew ambassadors.
