Cabin:

National Geographic/Lindblad put together an amazing cruise of the Inside Passage of Alaska from Sitka to Juneau. The logistics were well done, and the pre-cruise tour of Sitka was very good, especially the Raptor center and the Totem Trail. By far the best thing about a Nat Geo/Lindblad cruise is the outstanding staff. The naturalists are very knowledgeable and easy to talk to, it is amazing to have National Geographic professional photographers going out with you to explore and give tips on taking photos, and the dining room staff are very friendly and give excellent service. There are excellent lectures on the wildlife and region by the staff and guest lecturers in the evening, though they tend to be too long after big days. The rooms are small but sufficient. The zodiak trips, hikes and kayaking opportunities seeing whales breach, Orcas swimming right near the ship, and the cute sea otters make it a trip of a lifetime. Being a small group, there is a good opportunity to meet interesting people from around the world. Simply outstanding!

Cabin Review

Cabin Standard

It is a small ship and the cabins are somewhat small and cramped but sufficient. The open door policy is disconcerting at first but you quickly realize that it is one big family and no one has to worry about security. The dining hall and lounge areas are adequate.
