Cabin: Large Ocean-View Stateroom

We chose this cruise because of its unique itinerary which went to Svalbard and then south to Iceland. We booked the original cruise which was to be on the Prinsendam, but this was changed to the Rotterdam. We were therefore on a cruise that was designed for a smaller ship and I think that detracted from the experience as we did not seem to get as close to the glaciers and polar ice cap as the smaller ship would. As a result we saw very little wildlife compared to the same cruise in previous years.

The crew were good and the outside cabin was roomy, But I may as well have had an inside cabin because the windows were really dirty.

In fact, for a cruise that 'featured' so much scenic cruising the windows were disgustingly dirty - particularly in the main dining room and lounge areas. At least some attention there would make it look like someone cared.

Large Ocean-View Stateroom

Cabin D

Good size cabin with excellent closet space. Bathroom good size. Windows were filthy and not worth the extra money if you cant see through them.
