being first time on a cruise, we were so excited. After reading all the things that were special about the Disney Cruise sad to say let down beyond belief. Disney says that the waiters follow you from dining room to dining room and get to know their families and likes, nope we were lucky if they even remembered to get us coffee after dinner. We were second seating with no chance to change it, after eating if we wanted to see a show it was really late and we ended up falling asleep. If we wanted to get a photograph with a character, we ended up waiting for hour, easy. The shopping in the Bahamas that was touted as so much cheaper than the US, well don't forget the VAT tax. Not such a deal then. The Disney island was a let down as well, because of the weather all excursions were canceled except the snorkeling which should have been, the water was so choppy and visibility was zero but they still charged us 120 dollars. Back at the room we were exhausted but guess what? They decided to do maintenance on the balcony and we were left to find somewhere to wait until we could get back in. The pool was constantly closing down and the aqua duck was a hour wait if that was even working . The wave phones were also broken and unusable, we were terrified we would get charged for. The kids area was a joke, no activities just kids waiting around to play video games. I will NEVER go on another Disney Cruise. Ever.
