My wife and I had a long time desire to go to England, Scotland and Ireland and the Viking River cruise we were on 2 years ago gave us confidence to sign up for an ocean cruise.

The on board experience was similar to the river cruise, in that the service and friendliness of the staff was excellent. We never felt crowded or rushed. Never wanted to go somewhere on the ship and turned around because it was too busy. Also like the river cruise it was easy to meet people and see them in the restaurants or excursions.
