We chose this cruise for the itinerary and the cost. Usually cruise Celebrity but the cost for this was less for equivalent sailing. Our status with Celebrity transferred over to Royal and was a great benefit for us.

All the ports were great and crew was excellent. We only did two excursions and they were arranged privately. Did a tour in Tallin, Estonia and a 2 day tour in St. Petersburg, Russia. Other ports were Skagen and Copenhagen, Denmark; Stockholm, Sweden and Helsinki, Finland. We began and ended in Amsterdam.

For the ports - do your research. The transfers were expensive and not always necessary if you like to walk - and not always a long walk. Some of the areas were a short distance from the dock.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony

Cabin 6D

Cabin was in need of refreshing. Public areas are contemporary but cabins are original. Bed was great.

We had some issues that were addressed immediately.

The veranda door was almost impossible to move and was repaired in a few days with a new handle.

Safe failed but was repaired in 15 minutes.

Port Reviews

Stockholm

Took water boat Hop on Hop off. Could have walked to city from port.

Copenhagen

Did Hop on Hop off and a canal tour. Best canal tour. Lovely city. Very clean. Got a hot dog from Street Vendor which was recommended.

Skagen

Walked from port to town. Small but enjoyable stop,

Amsterdam

Did walking tour
