We have only been on a few cruises. We selected Viking based on friend's recommendation, industry reputation and the itinerary was just what we were looking forward.

The Viking SKY did not disappoint. Everything was spotless clean, food was excellent, service 10 stars, shipmates were fun and engaging, wonderful ports and excursions, fun entertainment and plenty of beautiful public spaces to enjoy. We never felt like there were 900 people on board.

Embarkation was seamless. We got on board at 11am. The restaurant was open for lunch and we were in our cabin before promised time.

Cabin Review

Cabin DV

This cabin is at the back of the ship on deck 4. There was a suite on one side, another cabin like ours on the other with a suite next to that. It was quiet and loved that you could see on both sides. This cabin cost a bit more than the others on deck 4. If you want to be close to the elevators/stairs this cabin is not for you.

The cabins have heated floors. I personally didn't like it as it made the bathroom a bit too hot for me. But was perfect for drying clothing..:)
