We have done a number of river and ocean cruises with Viking and know we can expect a great itinerary, wonderful food, excellent service and if anything isn’t quite right, they make it right.
The cruise departed from Barcelona and ended in Bergen, Norway. We chose this cruise because it included some ports we hadn’t visited and some we had, with the biggest draw being the Normandy beaches. We also looked forward to Falmouth and Portsmouth, England.
We went to Barcelona a few days early to visit a number of sites we had seen on earlier trips. Our favorite site is Sagrada Familia which is such an incredible cathedral. We also rode the hop on/hop off bus and saw many areas we hadn’t seen before.

Spacious, well-appointed, plenty of outlets. Coffee maker and refrigerator stocked with your preferred beverages. Desk is spacious, bed is very comfortable. Heated floors in the bathroom, plenty of room for toiletries. Every cabin has a window and a small deck.
Service is exceptional and occurs twice a day.
TV is large and offers lots of movies and a number of “live” shows. You can also watch videos of the port talks that have been given. Your itinerary is available on the tv, your reservations for restaurants (and you can make reservations, too), any services you’ve booked, your account, and more.
