San Francisco to San Francisco by way of the inner passage to Alaska. Eleven days of comfortable cruising, great service, no lines, exciting excursions and great food. The worst part of this cruise was San Francisco, not a great city anymore but the rest of the cruise was outstanding. Balcony room was smaller than my Oceanview on the Emerald but it had a nice balcony that is essential on an Alaska cruise.

Anytime dining was great due to food. The wait staff was not up to par and for the first time I could tell anytime has less care than having defined dining and servers. Not bad, they just didn't seem to care.

Horizon Court Buffet was excellent. Wait Staff, food quality, temperature and appearance were all top notch. I never had to wait for a table at breakfast or lunch, a first for me.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BD

Small but has new flat screen TV, Princess bed and new end table with USB charging outlets on each. Balcony was good size with two chairs, foot rests and one table.

Port Reviews

San Francisco

Dirty, filthy city. Area around the cruise terminal not so bad but many beggars and homeless.

Juneau

Tracy's Crab Shack lunch and walked the shopping district. Great lunch and nice, safe walking area.

Skagway

Boat ride, canoeing, hiking and glaciers, what more could you ask for.

Glacier Bay

Both sides of the ship saw the same thing, simply amazing scenery.

Sitka

Many Otters and Whales. Beautiful cruising.

Victoria

Buses worked great, hop on/hop off.
