We decided on Viking because of their reputation, which they lived up to!
The crew made every effort to make our cruise fantastic. From the moment that we stepped aboard we were treated like honored guests. If we needed anything, all we had to do was ask.
Viking has embarking and disembarking down to a science. It was very organized and ran smoothly.

Plenty of room. We were really only in the room to sleep and shower.

Basel
Walking Tour of Basil. Tour lasted about 2 hours and went through the historic part of the town.
Heidelberg
We enjoyed the tour of Heidelberg Castle that included the history.
Koblenz
The bus ride up to the castle was breathtaking. Yes, the steps into the castle are not easy but take your time and it's worth the effort!
Cologne
Our guide was wonderful. Explained the history of Cologne and pointed out many interesting places which we were able to go back and explore on our own.
