We had been on Viking once before in China and loved the experience. The stops were great, the food was good, and the crew was extremely helpful. The cabin we had was clean and the cabin steward was attentive to our needs. The cruise director was a Hoot and gave us both informed about coming attractions but also sang like a bird.

For us, food service is acceptable. We traveled with a picky eater which made dinners on board a problem some times. Breakfast was the best meal of the day because of the custom make eggs each morning.

We traveled to Budapest for seven-days. We have excellent weather and even on our one bad rainy day, we were entertained by our tour guide with stories and enjoyed a great lunch. Arriving in Budapest at night was the highlight of the trip. The cruise director alerted the camera buffs to be ready for the run and return to our dock.
