Prior river cruise experience with Viking was excellent. We wanted to visit the Baltic ports and expected the same level of experience on Viking's ocean cruise ships.

There was almost a complete lack of on board entertainment. Most consisted of a string duet, a pianist and guitarist playing classical music. Only 5 shows in the theatre on a 14 day cruise and nothing during two deadly boaring sea days. The shows that were performed were reminiscent of karaoke.

Enrichment was poor and consisted mainly of trying to pitch shore excursions.

Response from VikingS, Community Team

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughtful review. While we’re glad your previous travel experiences with us were enjoyable, it is disappointing to learn the onboard enrichment...

Cabin Review

Cabin Penthouse veranda

The cabin met expectations for size, cleanliness and service for the premium price.

Port Reviews

Eidfjord

Did the Flam railway. That itself was worth doing, but the lengthy bus ride was not enjoyable.
