I took a holiday with my family to Las Vegas and decided that, whilst in the US, we would take the opportunity to see Mexico on a cruise. We booked the 7-day Mexica\n Riviera cruise on the Carnival Splendor.
My daughter is in a wheelchair and we booked one of the very few fully accaessible cabins on the ship - a Spa cabin (oceanview). It was not in the best location though - right at the front and near the top of the ship.
Embarkation was relatively smooth although the facilities to get into and out of the cruise terminal to drop off and pick up were a bit chaotic.

The cabin, being one of the very few fully accessible cabins on the ship, was not particularly spacious. The location was very poor - right at the front of the ship and near the top. This meant a long walk with the wheelchair to get anywhere and also there was a lot of movement, even when the sea was relatively smooth.
There was also a lot of noise and vibration from the bow thrusters and a generator located immediately next to the cabin. I would not recommend this cabin to anyone who suffers from motion sickness or who wants peace and quiet!
Finally, being a spa cabin we had direct access to the spa. Unfortunately we were not able to make use of this as our 15-year old daughter was not included in this as she was under 18!
