Room: Had Deluxe Veranda that, per Viking, was 270 sf. As soon as we opened the room door, it was a shock. I measured: 193sq not including the balcony.
Storage: Three drawers in cabinet, one drawer in each night table - and the closet. Hardly enough.
Communication: Abysmal. In the first three days (yes, three days) I had to go to Guest Services (GS) 15 times - I finally stopped counting. Some reasons for these trips to GS: 1) Viking description of one tour vs TripAdvisor description differed. When questioned, rep told me that 'their screen' was quite different from what they wrote in their brochure when I signed up. 2) Returned to room to find paper that showed they had cooking classes "first come basis". We had arrived early, so I went back. Rep took my info and said we were in it. We never got tkts. I went back and was told we were on a wait list. 3) Found out there were wine classes. Went back to sign up. 4) Went to the wine class and signed up for more but then at designated time, the room was empty. - back to GS - was told class was cancelled and everyone was called . (no one called me) 5) Another wine class. and another GS trip - class was cancelled because no one showed up. (I was there and the room was dark). 6) The fan in the room was so loud, I had to wear earplugs -- and I am hearing impaired! etc, etc...

Our steward, Dharma, was superb and was equal to butlers we have had on Silversea. The room size, as described above, was not as advertised. I had to move the coffee table up against the sliding door so that I could move between the two chairs and the desk chair. Incidentally -- I am 121lbs --- if it was tight for me, how do more substantial people manuever?
