This was our 6th Oceania Cruise, 3 on each Riviera and Marina. This size of ship suits and have not tried the smaller ones.

We booked our flights independently and flew to Lisbon on the day of the cruise arriving at the terminal about 11am, had a quick coffee at the coffee shop next to the cruise terminal and a Pasteis de Nata which was delicious.

Embarkation was quick and efficient and we were on board by midday. Included in our package was the Classic drinks package which we upgraded to the Prestige package as soon as we got on board, this cost was $20pp per day which was quickly used up after having one glass of champagne, so upgrading is definitely worth it.

Cabin Review

Verandah Stateroom

The cabin was in a good location, midships beside the lift and it was in excellent order, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, exceptional bathroom and a nice balcony. No problem with the hairdryer as I thought it was quite powerful. The location was usually quiet except for first thing in the morning when people were going to breakfast.

Our cabin steward Isobel looked after the cabin very well, she as quick and efficient and usually by the time we came back from breakfast the cabin had been cleaned.
