We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. The dining was average, it just started to get repetitive after a while. For breakfast, it was the same options for seven days. There were hot food items (eggs, hash browns, pancakes, french toast, omelets), a yogurt section with many toppings, fresh fruit, bread and pastries.

For lunch and dinner, the buffet was similar each day. There was a salad section, some deli meats and cheeses, usually there was a chicken, fish, and pork entree, but sometimes beef or lamb. There was often a potato, rice, or pasta option as well. There was always bread and a different soup each day and there was always dessert. Also, each day there was a special lunch station, such as tacos, pasta, or fajitas. This really helped with the variety and I wish that they did something similar with breakfast and dinner.

There was usually a table available in the buffet areas and a long wait for a table during dinner in the restaurants. The earliest breakfast started was 7 am and I wish there was an option to start even earlier. At least the option of having fruit and pastries available and have the hot food come at 7 am.

Cabin Review

The cabin was a good size, we felt like there was enough space for us. Our cabin steward was wonderful at looking after us, very attentive! I would recommend they have higher beds in the future so that you can store your suitcase under your bed.

The negatives about the cabin is it never got cold enough, even when on the coldest setting on the air conditioning it still felt warm to us. Also, the bathroom always had an unpleasant smell to it.

Port Reviews

Athens (Piraeus)

Athens was amazing! The Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, and Archaeological Museum are must sees.
