I chose this cruise to go up the Pacific Northwest coast. Astoria was a delightful town. The tour we took was one to Ft. Stevens and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and a delight in her presentation. The Ft. was interesting because it was where a Japanese sub came right in too Am. waters. The dock in Seattle was perfect as we were able to walk to Pikes Market, Chihuly museum, The Space Needle, and several museums. Weather was perfect to walk - not to hot not to cold and not raining. Vancouver was amazing. We were able to walk everywhere - Gastown, Chinatown, Downtown, Robson Street, and Granville Island. Love the time we spent there. We missed Victoria because of adverse weather and sailed into San Francisco 12 hours early. The ship and immigration worked beautifully to get every one off who wanted off, everyone checked and back on who wanted back on and those who wanted to tour and come back were able to do so as well. Once again Princess shines with its great captain John Henry Smith. Strongly recommend this cruise. Dinning was great with the chef Joel Direcho. As a chef who has to follow the fleet menu, he has made the grade with the food. Meat is cooked to perfection and dishes are flavorful. We didn't participate with the entertainment, but from the conversations heard it was good.
