Princess was our favorite cruise line and we have taken 29 cruises and spent about 350 days on board their ships. Over the years we have noticed the little cuts but since we have not been on Princess for about 2 years we had an eye opening experience on this 26 day transpacific cruise.

They have cut everything from the crew to toothpicks and mints after dinner to the size of the plates at the buffet.

The Golden Princess is falling apart. There are water leaks coming from the ceilings of the public hallways and other places around the ship. There is also a significant odor of mold in some areas of the ship. The furnishings are in desperate need of replacing with seats in the theater that are too bent to sit in to tables and chairs in the rooms being broken. The mattresses in our mini suite were so bad that it was hard to get a good nights sleep. I know that they are transferring it to P&O but that is not for another year.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin was in very poor condition. Furnishings old and not in good condition but the location of the cabin is great.
