I chose this cruise because of the itinerary. My party originally booked on Royal Caribbean, but we wanted to go to Keywest so we changed to the Norwegian Sun. Norwegian was also offering some nice incentives, the reasonably priced beverage package. Norwegian does some things really well. The beverage package was the best of any of the lines I have been on. The bar service was great, fast, friendly, and the drinks were good. The entertainment at sea was fun, with the entertainment staff doing a good job of keeping us smiling. The music was really good, upbeat. The live bands were great. The biggest complaint that I have about Norwegian is their food. The food in the main dining rooms was not good, it was not hot, and it appeared they were using the same base for every cream soup, the same beef for every beef dish. Although the servers were nice, they were really slow at serving us. If it wasn't for the food, Norwegian would probably rise to the top in my book. To date I have cruised on: Royal Caribbean, Princess, Carnival, and now Norwegian.
