As a first time on a transatlantic, we chose NCL and Pearl based on the itinerary and were not disappointed. The food was good, we did not use the speciality restaurants as we found the MDR o’Sheehans, and buffet met our expectations. We were disappointed in the small number of production shows but found enough on the ship to be entertained. The crew are exceptional, a special thank you to Arturo Samanez and Nikola Bogdanovic in Magnums and John Patrick Layacan in Spinnaker.

The one negative was the lack of communication regarding the Kiss charter. The itinerary was changed to call at Port Canaveral, we discovered on social media this was due to the charter. The final day was totally disrupted on the pool deck with no advance notice. We were aware as we had been informed by a crew member. Notification in the daily Freestyle on the upcoming days would have allowed passengers to make an informed decision on how to spend their last day.

Would we choose NCL again, YES.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Compact but adequate. Cabin steward (Ralph) did a great job and responded very quickly and efficiently to requests.
