Being so close to the elevator made this cabin perfect!

Aimed to embark the ship later so I could explore Southampton - was very interested in finding Titanic-related things but everything I had marked to find on my map I could not find! Could not find anything - very disappointed, and no signage at all.

Southampton

Did the Paris + Lunch Cruise on the Seine excursion.
Guide was so lovely and informative as we drove through Normandy to Paris, detailing its history including the wars and Joan of Arc. The driver took us for a drive all around the sites of Paris, making sure we all had ample photo opportunities. 
Made a short 15 minute stop at the Eiffel Tower for photos and then made our way to the lunch cruise.
Food was nice but each dish wasn't explained what it was (some seafood thing for starts, then beef?). Wine was very nice.

Very crowded boat and took some pushing and shoving to get to the back of the boat to take photos as we passed each site (especially the Notre Dame). The live music was a nice touch.

The bus took us around to all the major sites and the wi-fi onboard was brilliant. Only thing was protests going on around the city so we had to deviate from where we were told the shuttle bus would pick us up from - everyone was very confused. Thought NCL could have handled this better by having a representative at this stop to help everyone out.

Our guide was so lovely and knew everything about Cannes and Monaco as we drove through. Gave us enough free time for us to experience a little of the place by ourselves and helped us enjoy the foyer of the Casino without having to pay entrance or abide by the dress codes.

A wonderful tour of Florence followed by an amazing lunch at a nearby palace - was astounded at how lovely the place was! Followed by a drive back to Pisa to take the iconic photo.

Cruise organised a shuttle bus from the port to the main stop of the hop on hop off bus.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Had a lovely 40 minutes or so freetime in Sorrento exploring the main streets and handmade factory, then made our way to a local farm which was hosted by a lovely Italian woman who demonstrated the making of mozzarella cheese followed by a tasting plate of prosciutto, salami, ricotta and mozzarella. Then with some pasta and cake. Also some homemade wine and limoncello. Had such a good time here!

Then drove to Pompeii to experience the archaelogical site - was only a short walk around but saw the main things including one of the body casts. Will definitely need to come back to see the whole thing.

Bus drove us up to the main street levels from the port, then for a walk around Oia. Very very crowded streets - cannot imagine what this place is like in peak season! Also tip - make sure you go to the toilet before this excursion as toilets in Santorini are paid and the attendants are not very friendly at all!

Then, onto lunch at a local restaurant with picteresque views. A nice buffet style lunch with dancing and smashing plates.

Gave us ample time to explore Fira on our own before making our way back to the ship via cable car.

Not as walking intensive as I thought! Was not hard at all to climb the steps to the top - just be careful to hold onto someone as the marble steps are very slippery.

Stops weren't explained very well - two museum stops we needed to pay for in order to enter, or just sit on the bus and wait until everyone else was done. Would have liked to get out and explore but weren't really told what we could do. The other stops at Bene Beach was very worthwhile/picteresque and the brief tour through Diocletian's Palace was nice. Feel like this tour needs an upgrade though.

Also made hopping into the spa on Deck 10 aft annoying as we had to make our way to Deck 12 mid ship just to grab some towels.Was surprised at how the bathroom was organised - easily the biggest shower I've experienced on a ship and absolutely loved that there was a sliding door instead of an annoying shower curtain - made showering at the end of the day a breeze.
