19 day re-positioning cruise Copenhagen to New Orleans. Staff, cabin stewards, bar staff all excellent and helpful. Management was terrible from top to bottom. Free Style was a joke as there were lines everywhere and you had to make reservations. Every docking ended with long lines. Unecessary stop in Miami was short and entailed a 4 hour wait in the terminal. Every question to Guest Services was met with either a negative or a vague unhelpful answer. Entertainment (when you could get in) was mediocre. Food in general at the buffet and complimentary restaurants was fair at best and the specialty restaurants had better food on the only other Norwegian cruise ship we had been on (Jewel). Also suprise billing for "services" on the beverage package of over $300/person Definitely would not recommend.Shore excursions were as advertised though the one I wanted most was cancelled and we had to make several visits to the excursion desk to add a desired excursion .

Port Reviews

Great Stirrup Cay

No excursion Just walked around and went to beach and ate and drank. Excellent except that 2 Norwegian cruise ships were in at the same time and there were not enough tenders-- thus almost half the time was spent on lines waiting to go ashore or to get back on the ship--another management fiasco
