Embarkation was quite smooth and quick. We had an ocean view cabin at the very front of the ship. The cabin was clean and our cabin steward was great. The ship's layout is okay but you can see that it is an older ship (inside and outside) that needs an overhaul. The food on this ship was not that great to me particularly breakfast on the Lido Deck. We ended up eating breakfast in the dining room which was much better. Our overall experience in the dining room was good. We had great servers in the evening. The entertainment on the ship was just okay. It is time for Carnival to have new stage shows. I usually enjoy the comedy shows but the comedians on this cruise were just not that funny. The highlight of entertainment for this cruise was Halloween. It was amazing!! The costumes were just incredible and we really enjoyed participating!!! We played in the casino a lot. There were a lot of cigarette smokers in the casino. The smoke choked you. I tried to bear with it because I know that is how it is!!! I even met some very nice people who were smokers but their smoking was killing me!! LOL. Our ports of call were very nice. We took an outside excursion in Montego Bay which was a tour of the island that included lunch at a local restaurant and 2 hour stay at a beach. We did a Carnival excursion in Grand Cayman to a semi-submarine just outside of the gate at the port. I am not sure why we had to get on a bus to go right outside of the gate. It was definitely not worth the money. In Cozumel, we went to Mr. Sanchos which is a beach resort. It was wonderful there!! Disembarkation went smoothly and we had an overnight stay in New Orleans which was wonderful!!
