We booked symphony of The seas a few months ago. Mainly because it was the biggest ship and one of the newest ships in the world. This is our 12th cruise, the last seven have been on Norwegian.

Saturday November 9th - Day one Miami - We flew into fort Lauderdale the morning of the cruise. We took an Uber down to the ship for three people, it cost $38. We got into the cruise waiting area around 10 a.m. and had to wait an hour before we were let on the ship. That was fine as there were still passengers from the previous week still getting off.

We had interior room 9149, we felt that it was larger than a lot of the other interior rooms we seen in the past. The only thing that's weird is the TV, which is at an odd angle and it doesn't pull out as much as it should. The third cruiser in our party was my mom, she had room 9629 a window view into Central Park. Her room was a little bit bigger than ours and had a direct view of the TV. She had read a review online and had some concern before boarding another reviewer mentioned that there is a crew room next door and in the middle of night it sounds like they're throwing dishes and silverware. Every night my mom was woken up between 1:00AM and 3:00AM and this loud clatter went on for 2 hours or so. every morning she would go to the service desk to file a complaint, every time she was told this will be the last time it'll be corrected tonight. After 4 nights and 4 days of talking with crew she gave up and elected to sleep with plugs in. I wouldn't recommend this room to anybody especially somebody who wants to get a good night sleep. I am shocked on such a brand new ship that the engineers and designers didn't plan better and keep this crew service area away from sleeping quarters.
