Celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with a Mediterranean Cruise. We chose Viking because of its comprehensive itinerary of 6 countries in 13 days. The weather was great and the pre cruise and post cruise extensions greatly enhanced the actual cruise itself. The pre cruise extension enabled us to meet, and make, new friends that we enjoyed when embarking for the cruise itself. The shore excursions were interesting, fun and educational at the same time. The ship's cabin was a comfortable size and we very much enjoyed the heated bathroom floor. The food was plentiful, tasty and had something for every; plus, the included wine for lunch and dinner was a very nice addition. The crew members were very attentive to our requests and eager to make our experience special. This was our fourth cruise and first with Viking, we will definitely book with Viking again. The ship size was perfect for a more intimate experience, and did not feel like one was traveling with a whole city of people. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to do a Mediterranean cruise.
