We chose Viking because we had enjoyed a river cruise with them before, so we hoped/assumed the ocean cruise would also be great. It was... except for the low quality of the included wine served with dinner and more importantly, the shore excursion experience.

The service, facilities, and food was wonderful. The included beers were very good, and the exercise rooms even tempted me into working out.

The included wine was the cheap Chilean wine Fontera, which we have in stores at home for about $6 per bottle. Instead of serving us delicious and inexpensive Spanish wines in Spain, French wines in France, and Italian wines in Italy, like we had on the river cruise, we had the boring and bland imported wine- quite a disappointment.

Cabin Review

The cabin was phenomenal, beautifully designed and wonderfully maintained. We could not ask any more from the room.

Port Reviews

Dubrovnik

Great guide made the large group work by telling personal stories.

Split

The place was small enough that we could learn more about a smaller place- useful and fun.

Venice

Good tour, but at only 90 minutes we were left wanting much more.
