Everything was wonderful, from the time we embarked in Paris until the end of our cruise. The ship is beautiful with spacious public areas and our cabin was very comfortable. I really enjoyed our own little balcony ! Dining was delicious. We quickly made new travel friends and started dining together. We had good entertainment, and learned about the local culture in the process. We could not have had better service. We particularly appreciated Jorge, who always seemed to enjoy wherever we needed him! The ports and shore excursions were terrific! They were well planned and executed. I remember how we felt seeing the beach at Normandy and visiting the cemetery where so many Americans lie. It was so special, as we were there the week before D-Day and we actually have relatives who landed there 75 years ago. Paris is beautiful, but the best was seeing Monet’s gardens. What gorgeous flowers and the kitchen was to die for, with the blue and white tiles and copper pots.
The stateroom was very comfortable and pretty. I enjoyed our little balcony while under way! What a great way to travel. So relaxing!
