Weather in northeast was far too cold to enjoy the beautiful cities of Canada and New England.

Embarkation looked like a greased pig rodeo with two individuals (later three) controlling the crowds. The "herder-in-charge" was too busy chatting with guests (at the head of the line) to keep the processing running smoothly, with agents waving at him frantically to get his attention to send over another person to check in. The subordinate, on the other hand, was constantly distracted by questions, problems, and other issues so that people were jumping the line to check in. When the chatty man in charge noticed the line jumpers, he verbally attacked the other who was facing the crowds. They finally added a third person to make their system work properly.

Ship was beautiful.

Cabin Review

Verandah Stateroom

Nice room. Luxurious bedding. Only problem with room was the height of the bed frame--too low to allow us to store our suitcases under the bed. Consequently, we stored them in the bathtub--which ruled out taking a bath or soaking feet after a long day ashore.

VERY CLEAN. No mildew smells in bath (as was the problem with both Princess and Celebrity!) Stewards were excellent. The noise level in the stateroom areas was church mouse quiet. We did not know we had neighbors!
