This was our family cruise. Nine of us sailed aboard the Elation and had a wonderful time. We had sailed on this ship before and were not disappointed. We had 3 first time cruisers with us, and now they are hooked. This ship made a great impression on them. Crew and staff were extremely helpful and quick to respond on all matters is or concerns.
Our cruise director did a fantastic job and was everywhere making fun for all. Shows were good and we enjoyed them all. Had seen couple of them on another cruise, but these guys and girls really put Their heart in it! Great singing and dancing.
Tried to enter corn hole competition but filled up too quickly. Bummer! We did have 2 of our family make it on stage for Hasbro game, although they did not win they enjoyed playing. Played shuffleboard and enjoyed pools and slides. Lots of room for working on tans, and played putt-putt. Was wanting to play bocci, but no pieces? Went to art show, however I did not stay. Have bought several pieces prior, but seemed to be same art on each ship.

Room was of good size. No couch,so it made room seem bigger.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)
Beautiful beach called Sousa beach. Be careful of waves and undertow! Take your through the locals,about $25 each. See mountain from Jurassic park! Amber museum very educational. Look for guys in green shirts.
Grand Turk
Not very informative. Get yourself a massage at the beach area, as you leave pier turn right. These guys do a great job, and nothing else like hearing waves, feeling breeze and getting massaged. Joel and his mom are great!
