We chose this cruise as it had an interesting itinerary and we were interested in hearing the on board speakers from Frontline America TV who were all excellent in every way

We found the ship very dated and in need of an upgrade

The food in all restaurants was of high quality

Cabin Review

Seasoned cruise travellers we looked forward to our first voyage with Regent as we heard so many good reports about it.

But doing a comparison between Seabourn, Silversea and Regent we have agreed that Seabourn and Silversea overall are still our favourite cruise lines

Suite 759 - the noise rattling and vibration is nothing like we have ever experienced before

It is situated on an end wall next to a cupboard which we opened to find heavy pipes and equipment within .Perhaps this is the cause of our lack of sleep night by night.

Also the suite was very tired and in need of an urgent upgrade as some other areas of the ship too.

The meals on board were fabulous in all restaurants as were the selection of wines

The tours included in the fare we found as well as other guests to be monotonous and boring .

On reflection it would not be our first choice next time we travel
