Sail Date: Nov 2019

Chose this cruise as it sailed from Tenerife were we live, therefore no flying. We have sailed the Canaries before but still enjoyed it. The Explorer is a nice ship. Very clean, plenty of room around the various bars.

The entertainment was not as good as the Discovery, just the show dancers and one night a comedian, ok nothing to shout about.

We thought the service was better on Discover we waited a fairly long time to be served around the pool bar even though there were plenty of staff. That said we did get good service in the Lounge bar which we used most nights.

Cabin Review

Cabin was very good, nice queen bed comfy and pillows ok. Tea and coffee tray which is a must for us, Need tea in a morning. Bathroom plenty of space for toiletries and shower cubicle without the dreaded curtain. kept spotless by our stewardess.
