We've been on this cruise many times. So all was as expected. There are many sea days filled with activities or just relaxing. Loved the lectures about Hawaii...culture/history/natural wonders...what to see and food. Loved the hula and ukulele lessons, and all the Hawaiian crafts and music. Food was as always consistently good. Effy was giving out charms if you attended some of their workshops. These cute charms are great to give to grand daughters. Amazing to see the mass of women wanting these inexpensive freebies (and I was one of them :)). British Invasion singers were excellent. The Voice of the Ocean was funny and fun. We were surprised by the very talented contestants.

Already taken many tours in past trips so this time we did the following local things...

Hilo:Took free Farmers' Market bus took us to their local farmers' market and crafts' market downtown. Ate delicious Ono fish at a local restaurant. Shopped for inexpensive Hawaiian candy/cookies and coffee at local grocery store. Took taxi back from bus stop...$5 each for car load.
