The port was a busy mess but after reading some reviews prior to travel, we were prepared for that and tried to keep calm and safe throughout the process. The cabin itself was like a nice hotel room and we really enjoyed that sea view. Some of the fellow travelers were saying the staff was not good enough but me and my husband did not find any fault on them during the whole cruise. Dining was nice, we tried nearly all the restaurants and coffee shops except for the pizza place as while traveling long distance, eating junk is just not what you would like to do. Our favorite was Da Vinci dining room. The key for the breakfast was to wake up early and enjoy the first meal of the day in peace.

To my taste, I would love the entertainment on board to be a little more interactive. Most of things to do on the cruise ship are related to food and beverage or otherwise, pay a big stack of money to visit gym or spa. The concert entertainers were nice but while cruising for 2 weeks you will notice that they are repeating themselves.

In the most of ports, we were taking hop on hop off buses to cover maximum ground in a short time. The Canary Islands was the highlight of the cruise for us. You do not need any tours there, just walk around and enjoy the atmosphere. You will love it.

Cabin Review

Oceanview

The cabin was really clean and nice. The bed was very comfy. It would be nice to have an extra chair in the cabin to have more space to put your things. The water in the shower sometimes took long time to regulate the optimum temperature but it was okay. Having balcony in the room was nice although we preferred to spend the time out on the deck or other public areas.

Port Reviews

Corfu

Choosing between going to the beach and staying in the town we definitely chose the town. It is just a walking distance away from the cruise terminal so we had good time to wonder about the historical center. I guess the beach was really nice too.

Barcelona

We stayed for a couple of days in Barcelona after the cruise. Taking 2-day hop on hop off pass was very handy to get to different destinations in the city. Don't miss visiting the cathedrals and the markets. Great experience.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

We arrived at Rome a few days before the sail date and discovered it properly on pre-booked tours and on our own. I strongly recommend taking a taxi transfer from the city to port directly to avoid all the trouble of using the train our other public transportation.
