We wanted to see the sights and tour Normandy especially since 2019 was the 75th anniversary of D-Day. Also, wanted to experience a river cruise and it was exceptional!! Can't say enough about the service, the food, friendly staff, wonderful stateroom--was all first--class!! We enjoyed stopping at Claude Monet's home and gardens, taking walks in the small cities along the river and getting to meet some of the local residents. . Was great to sit on the deck and watch the scenery pass by. We stood and watched as we passed through several locks--amazing to see how that works.

Meals were always something to look forward to each day from the variety of food choices,, the attentiveness of the waitstaff and the generous wine provided! Got to try lots of food from the region and many, many wonderful desserts.

Our stateroom with veranda was great. The bathroom was compact, but had lots of extras that we enjoyed and plenty of room for our things.
