We wanted to visit countries in southeast Asia that were on our bucket list. This cruise fit the bill and we were also able to spend another week in Australia. The ship was a nice size.. roughly 2000 passengers. Ship was clean but there was a lot of rust on the ship.
Our room B547 was a standard balcony room. The patio door was not airtight and needed a small block of wood to be wedged into the window frame to force an air tight seal otherwise the patio door whistled at all hours of the day and night.
The food was average in the dining room, buffet and outdoor terrace buffet. On a long cruise, you will find that the food menu starts to look boring after the first 14 days.
Cabin Review
Balcony
Great location, comfy bed, and quiet. Balcony was full of rust and needed a paint job.
Patio window needed a retrofit. Air whistled in at all hours of the day or night. We were given a block of wood to wedge in between the patio frame and the sliding patio door.

Went on our own to visit the Perth Mint, Perth Bell Tower and the Perth Kings park.

Hired a taxi for the day from the port. Driver stayed with us all day. Way cheaper than booking a Princess excursion. You can stipulate which tourist areas you want to visit and the amount of time you wish to stay at each stop.

Singapore
Took the Princess shuttle to the mall and then got a taxi to the Singapore Gardens by the Bay. The Skywalk in the Trees and the botanical garden domes are a must do... fabulous!!
Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)
Took a private tour of Ho Chi Minh City that was arranged by another Cruise Critic member. The tour guide was very knowledgable and informative.
Sihanoukville
Hired a taxi for the day.. driver stayed with us for the day and is way cheaper than booking a Princess excursion. You just create your own itinerary on the fly and the taxi driver is happy to oblige
Bangkok (Laem Chabang)
Took a private tour of Bangkok City that was arranged by another Cruise Critic member. The tour guide was very knowledgable and informative BUT the drive from the ship to the city took 3 hours and the drive back to the ship took 2 hours... Needless to say, the tour was not as expected as most of the attractions to visit were taken off of the itinerary due to time constraints.
Koh Samui

Bali

Unfortunately, I got very sick the next day... I suspect food poisoning.
