I chose this cruise to take my elderly mother on a shorter cruise. I also chose it for the price and the way the main dining and other activities are all centrally located so she would not have to walk as much.
Summary:
The Dining was very friendly and accommodating, even when we didn't arrive on time. The food was mostly good. But the formal night did not not have the usual steak and lobster, instead just okay food on formal night. (I think lobster was offered on the first night but for an added cost).
The cabin was so small, (a mini suite) that we could not even get a standard walker through the door)
The minis suite was smaller than a standard cabin on Holland America.
The steward forgot to leave us any washcloths on 3 of the 5 days. Sometimes left us 2 towels for 3 people and other times 5 towels. However he turned out beds down daily and was otherwise OK, but none of those beloved towel animals.
The beds were adequate, the couch bed springy and not too comfortable but an extra padding that we added ourselves, helped.
Beneath the beds they stored a bunch of linens so we could not easily stash our suitcases.
The toilet was had some glitchy flushing mechanism for several days but eventually stopped working all together and when called, they did fix within an hour. The door handle fell apart and they fixed it.
