This was a short 6-day cruise from Galveston to Costa Maya, Roatan and Cozumel, with two days at sea. The bright spots first:

1) food overall was very good - and a complete surprise to us

2) staff in the restaurants and cabin were very good

Port Reviews

Costa Maya

Not a pleasant place to be. And if you go into the town it will require a long walk or a $17 taxi - then constant interruptions by aggressive people selling junk.

Roatan

We love Roatan and elected to take the Bananarama Resort day trip for cruisers. It was a great day that included a nice zipline, monkeys and then time on the beach.

Cozumel

With a total of 7 ships in port, the port area was full of cruisers. We electoed to go to a beach resort for the day and it was great. However, this ship required everyone back on board at 3:30, so the day was very, very short.
