We took this cruise believing the marketing hype from Oceania that they were a Premium cruise line. I can assure you it is definitely NOT!

Of the 8 cruises we have done other lines like RCL, Celebrity, Princess etc this was the worst cruise of them all. It was more like a 7 night stay in a funeral parlour. The cruise director was useless, there was no shipboard activities, no sail-away parties, no themed events, The "entertainment' was sub standard & the ship was totally devoid of any sense of fun or adventure whatsoever.

The Captain only spoke once in the entire voyage to inform us that the visit to Monaco was cancelled due to high winds. The entire crew & service staff appeared to be bored, they hardly ever smiled & many of them were just not skilled in the jobs they were doing. Read more
