First off I mean absolutely no disrespect to the service staff, our room steward and wait staff were fantastic. However, I’m thoroughly disappointed!!! The ship was in an overall state of rundown disrepair. Generators failed mid ship causing power outages and mild hysteria. 2 days in to our trip we noticed my fiancé was covered in bites after sleeping in our balcony room. The steward immediately changed all the linens. By the end of the week I was completely covered in bites as well. The staff midweek had a “insect audit” done which apparently wasn’t very thorough. On a separate note more then one occasion our food was sent back undercooked or overcooked, in some cases the wait staff noticed it and didn’t even bring the food out we ordered because they knew it was wrong. As for the “premium” WiFi services and “HUB” app, worthless do t waste $25 a day on this. I couldn’t even pay a credit Card bill from my phone, the app was continuously down, during power outages on the ship the paid WiFi service didn’t work at all, I’ve been on numerous carnival cruises and after this one I’m left feeling extremely dissatisfied with the cost and outcome. And by all means if u opt to purchase sea food the earlier in the trip the better. 6 days in we attempted to order lobster and crab legs and upon confronting the staff about the smell and appearance of the seafood we were told it was a week old and dead but it’s ok it was in ice all week
