We chose to do our family cruise out of Galveston because that’s the port my Mom lives closest to. We chose RCCL because my brother wanted to do the FlowRider (!). Ha! And we’ve been on “Liberty” once before, and enjoyed it.
Being a party of 12 people, split up into 3 staterooms, it got a little confusing during the embarkation process. One lady sent some of us one direction, then a different lady sent some of us into a whole different line on the other side of the desks. But we all met back up once we got checked in.
The ship is clean and very nice. Not too big - not too small. Our favorite places to hang out & meet up w/family were Cafe Promenade during the day and the Buffet tables in the very back at breakfast.
We had three people in this interior cabin, and it was fine. Plenty of space & good amount of storage. We liked that it was adjoining w/the room next door (7111). That was convenient for us. The location was wonderful. There were more in our party across the hall from us in 7200, which was an awesome “Ultra Spacious Ocean View” for a family of up to 6. It is convenient to the pizza and everything on Deck 5.
Do not book with El Cielo Cozumel!!! They gladly took our money through their website. Then they did not inform us that the 3 places they advertise would be closed to the public. Instead, they pawned us off on another boat company and gave us no other options. Now will not reply to any emails, will not answer their phone, or even chat online on their website. Not a trustworthy company. Please do not use El Cielo Cozumel!!
