This was our first cruise ever. We decided to take the plunge, so to speak, and try a short 3 night getaway as a sampler. Our first impressions were quite good. We were happy with our cabin (mini suite) and the service, once we entered the ship, was good however, we felt that a few simple things could have been done differently which would have made a big difference.

The spa's at the Oasis deck were heated. We noticed that everyone that went to hop in, commented on this as it was a hot 27degree day (hotter in the sun). One gentleman said that he felt like a lobster being put into a pot to cook. Needless to say, most hopped straight out. We were hot and couldn't cool down in cool water. We found the main pool, too small and always full of children so a second adults only cool down zone would be fabulous. Even an outdoor shower in that zone would help. Australian ships should be equipped for Australian summers. More shade would be fab too.

Food was quite nice but we found it way too salty. More healthy/gluten free options would be welcomed also as I am on a gluten restricted diet and struggled for variety.

Cabin Review

Good. Happy with the cabin overall.
